The Design Equivalent of A Cool Pool on A Hot Day

by Hannah Kelly June 16, 2017

When the weather heats up, we find ourselves drawn more and more to interiors that look cool as a cucumber, and boy oh boy is the home of designer Louise Liljencrantz a chill one. It's got all the hallmarks of somewhere you'd want to spend an air conditioned weekend, from the bar cart to the shaggy seating, but also looks so effortlessly cool that it appears to exist in a world beyond such mere mortal concerns as air temperature and the loud, man-made boxes we've invented to regulate it. The subdued slate color palette, the impossibly high ceilings, and the incredible molding contribute to a space that's the visual equivalent of a long, relaxing dip in a quiet, cool, pool. See the rest of the space over on Est Living.
