This Trend Is Adding Warmth Back To The Heart Of The Home

by Jonathan Steinitz October 03, 2016

We’re seeing a major trend in adding warmth back into the heart of the home.

When it comes to designing casual, modern kitchen spaces, wood is the perfect complement to marble and stone surfaces, metallic appliances, and sleek pendant lighting. We love the way wooden cabinets, countertops, and walls add natural texture that balances out more modern design features. Whether it be the raw material that keeps slick surfaces from feeling too cold or the matte finish that brings contrast to shiny accents, wood brings warmth to architectural kitchen designs.

Check out 12 kitchens with wood that will keep us from going against the grain anytime soon.
