Tour A Consort Bachelor Pad Bungalow

by Hannah Kelly May 17, 2017

When our celebrity client asked us to design his LA abode, we determined that there was one priority that trumped all others: comfort. Being a bi-coastal actor/director, our client turns to his LA home as a calm, grounding escape from the fast-paced demands of hectic schedules and the often-brutal NY weather.

Because we wanted the home to feel like a retreat, we drew design inspo from our client's favorite place to relax and unwind on vacation: Brazil. Using vibrant pops of color, globally-sourced materials and textiles, and plenty of plants, we amped up the "vacation" factor, while keeping the space livable. We grounded the whole design by incorporating the client's art collection, which added the perfect touches of personality that truly make a house a home.
