When we say we mean business, we take it pretty seriously. "Work hard, play hard" is more than a turn of phrase around our showroom–it's an ethos. That's why we couldn't pass up an opportunity to partner with our brilliant photographer BFF The Glamourai, a.k.a. Kelly Framel, in her coverage of local small businesses for American Express's Small Business Saturday last month.

We really couldn't think of a better way to spend a Friday afternoon than hanging with Kelly as she perused our L.A. shop floor, got in some serious snuggle time with our pup, and flexed her photog skills on our entire Holiday Gift Guide lineup. And naturally, when we asked her to pick out her fav pieces from our guide, we knew there was only one way to do it–by literally piling them on top of her.

So if you're still weighing your options on which gift to grab yourself (or like, a loved one), we've got Kelly's breakdown of her four faves after the jump. And don't forget, they all ship free 'til Friday so, you know, don't lag.

This black and white ceramic vase from Morgan Peck is one of my favorite pieces in the showroom! The arms are pure sophisticated play, and the stoneware glaze is organically elegant. I fill mine with oversized evergreen boughs for the holidays.

This one's a no-brainer. These mini tumblers are the perfect design pop in a minimal kitchen, though they translate just as well into a maximalist space. Bonus: they come in a set of four, so you're ready to host guests from the minute they arrive at your door.

Boy Smells not only make some of my favorite scented candles, they're one of the best I've seen in terms of design. Each glossy black jar features an embossed blush label, an immaculate matching blush box, and each scent is quintessential California.

If you ask me, everyone can always use more marble. The Mara Trivet and Serving Board offer a rich emerald hue, finished with a high-sheen gold accent. Even better, they do their job just as well when stacked on a coffee table as they do during charcuterie time and who isn't here for a little versatility?
