Step Inside the Barceló Torre de Madrid Hotel

by Colin King February 17, 2017

It's Friday and we're flying into the long weekend uber inspired by Spanish designer/artist, Jaime Hayon's work on the Barceló Torre de Madrid Hotel. The space as a whole is at once grand, sweeping and elegant, yet unpretentious, humorous and witty. Love!

Speaking of inspiration, we've always been big fans of Calliope and this week we got to go inside founder Caroline Ventura's eclectic West Village loft. So chic!

And after seeing the dazzling process of making a neon sign, we fell in love with the neon trend all over again. A tasteful and unique sign makes a bold statement and will brighten up any room in an instant!

Lastly, nothing makes us happier than seeing furniture and housewares that are both sculptural and functional. Seeds Gallery in London highlights experimental design works (and the structures they sit on). London calling!

Oh and one more thing, in cased you missed it and need some retail therapy—head over to our friends at Apartment34 who featured #ConsortNY. Happy 3-Day Weekend!
